Your Story Matters To Us
Share your story to be heard.
Share your story to be heard.
Do you ever feel your voice wasn’t heard during pregnancy, birth, or postpartum?
Do you want your story to help another mother feel less alone?
If this speaks to you, you’ve found a safe space to share your story, be heard, and receive the support you deserve — while inspiring clinicians to deliver better care

Every mother’s experience matters — not only to you, but to us and our community.
Clinicians, policymakers, and healthcare providers aren’t the only ones with the power to improve maternity care. You do too — simply by sharing your story.
We want to give you the space to tell your story, in your own words. An environment where you'll be truly heard. Your experience can bring hope to mothers walking a similar path, and help doctors and midwives understand how care can be better.
What we're looking for
Stories that shine a light on:
The challenges you faced — in pregnancy care, birth trauma, pelvic health, neonatal care, postpartum recovery, miscarriage, stillbirth or mental health struggles.
What helped you heal and recover — people, services, practices, or moments that made a difference.
What you wish every mother — and every doctor or midwife — could learn from your experience.
The impact of your story
Your story is deeply personal. That’s why you can tell it in your own words, choose to remain anonymous if you wish, and decide the impact you’d like it to have.
Here are some ways your story could make an impact.
🎙️ Featured on our Mothers & Medicine podcast — the only podcast where mothers’ inspiring stories meet conversations with the UK’s top doctors and midwives.
✍️ Published on our blog — so mothers can feel inspired and clinicians can learn from you.
🌍 Shared (with your consent) with media or policymakers — raising awareness of the changes mothers urgently need in maternity care.
Even if your story isn’t published, with your permission, it can shape Matriwell’s mission and guide the tools we’re building to give mothers better access to care and support.
