Our Mission
Our mission is to create a world where every mother — no matter her race, location, or income — can access the essential care she needs for a healthy pregnancy and postpartum journey.
Millions of mothers struggle to access the care they need for a healthy pregnancy and postpartum journey.
Services may be too far away, too costly, or hidden behind waiting lists. And even when appointments happen, the quality of care can come down to luck — the practitioner they see. The result? Too many mothers are left unsupported, and at risk.
Sadly everyday, 5000 babies are stillborn and 800 mothers die from childbirth complications and the World Health Organisation estimates 80% of these deaths are preventable if women can access the right care, at the right time.
Our purpose is to make quality care accessible and affordable to every mother.
We give mothers the tools to track and share their health story in a way that ensures they are truly heard. We help them make sense of their bodies, experiences, and the care they’ve received — so their journey feels clearer, not like a puzzle. Mothers can access holistic support to recover and feel like themselves again — from birth trauma healing and mental health support to lactation, pelvic health, and sleep training support and beyond.
While mothers are at the centre of everything we do, we also collaborate closely with partners and practitioners to improve how care is delivered. We create tools that help clinicians better hear and understand their patients, and we advance research that drives innovation to make quality care accessible to all. We also foster a community of best practice — offering events, webinars, and opportunities for clinicians to learn from leading experts in their field.

After my third daughter was born, I felt deeply let down by not being able to access the healthcare I needed — a reality far too many mothers face when they are most vulnerable.
In speaking with mothers and clinicians, I saw something hopeful: mothers want quality-care and clinicians aspire to deliver it consistently. But barriers like time, cost, systemic failures and access keep them apart.
I created MatriWell to change that. We make personalised healthcare and support accessible for mothers everywhere — whether at home or in hospital, through every stage of pregnancy and postpartum.
After surviving pancreatic cancer, facing challenging high risk pregnancies, and being fortunate to welcome three healthy daughters, I know all too well the difference it makes to have access to essential care.
